Personality:
- Kat is a knight of the Kingdom of Velouria. Being trained into knighthood from an early age, she’s experienced in her line of work and has become one of the more respected knights within the army, despite her gender. During her teenhood she had led her army out through a rough blizzard after a long and treacherous journey back from a military campaign, essentially saving the lives of over 100 fellow soldiers, which rightfully earned her the respect of not only her peers but also the royal family. Although she still is the target of some prejudice due to being a female knight, this is often either ignored or actively shot down by her colleagues, to where most people know not to mess with her. She’s actively contributed to the kingdom’s community and admires the royal family to a great extent.
Even with her established reputation, despite being proud of her female identity, she still has some trouble accepting herself as a ‘hero’ and often feels undeserving of said respect, always pushing herself to work harder and to be of better service to her kingdom to prove her worth. As a consequence this can lead her to overworking herself which can have the opposite effect and slow her down, leading to a harmful cycle.
In the middle of a fight, Kat can sometimes go into something of a bloodlust where it almost seems like she’s been possessed by another person and she shows no mercy to her opponents. Whilst she is often praised for her work, she holds hatred against herself in the aftermath of this as despite her tough exterior, it goes against her true, more pacifist, nature. Because of this she has debated her career, wishing to switch to perhaps a bard or a musician, yet at the same time feels attached to the idea of knighthood.
Trivia;
- Her favourite instrument is the organ.
- She was adopted by the church, as her mother had died when she was born and her father had disappeared, essentially leaving her an orphan.
- She eventually ascends to godhood with the princess, merging to become the one known as "Gol'gotha".
