Slush is a part of tundra.skies's The Color of Scales AU!

BACKSTORY

Slush came from a red MudWing egg but was nested and hatched in the IceWing kingdom. He has theorized that this has contributed to the lack of physical development in his arm and wing, wondering if there is some sort of connect between his body’s biological affinity for heat and the subzero temperature he was born in, but he has yet to confirm this. At only a few days old, Slush was left at the Possibility Home for Dragonets and never saw his parents again. despite growing up surrounded by the artistic environment of Possibility, Slush instead became fascinated with science and math, finding comfort in unbreakable laws and solid numbers. Even in a welcoming place like Possibility, Slush just never quite fit in. He had extreme difficulty making friends and understanding how to act in social situations, but this never truly bothered him. He set his sights on the Serendipity Medical Lab where he could become a healer and help other dragons in a way he couldn’t with his words or company. When he turned old enough to go to school, he immediately set off to the SeaWing School of Biological Study where he hopes to learn enough to become a healer and be accepted at the medical lab.

TRAITS:
Slush is extremely socially awkward (cough autistic) and prefers to keep to himself. He can never resist the temptation of telling somebody they’re wrong. He can be quite haughty, but his pride comes from a place of insecurity that he didn’t come out right, both physically and mentally. He’s well aware that he doesn’t behave “properly” but despite all his research, he still can’t figure out what he’s doing wrong. His only friend is Iolite, a NightWing that comes to Possibility when Slush is two years old.

ROLE IN THE AU:
At the time of the AU, Slush will be at the SeaWing Academy as a relatively new student, double majoring in genetic studies and anomalous adaptation studies.
