Tropical's mother was a member of one of the few remaining nomadic herds within the Skywing nation, and her father was a curious Rainwing eager to see more of the world. She was raised a free-spirit and taught not to trust the Skywing government as far as she could throw them. While her mother's herd has since left the nation, Tropical chose to stay on her own. 

Tropical lives her life as her Skywing ancestors did before her, roaming the lands as she pleases. Due to her disobedience and general rule breaking, she has gained a bounty with the Skywing government and a great number of scars; but she doesn't let that slow her down. Her venom and camoflage helps keep her safe when her pure fighting skills can't.

She has a bit of a flity relationship with Overcast, though the two of them don't meet up frequently enough for Tropical or Overcast to consider it a real relationship.
