Unlike Siren,Death is completely different from her.He's gloomy,isolated,pessimistic and sometimes tends to be sarcastic. He sees no future for anyone including himself and prefers to be alone in dried or dead areas. He even points out how naive Siren is and tells her what she's doing is pointless. He then decides to join her just to see what happens...
