ROGUE OF RAGE

Personality

Laz seems to be a passionate, high energy, outgoing and somewhat zany person. He exudes the air of a salesman or game show host and can be quite risk taking and a bit sleezy. Despite his high energy persona, the very perceptive can tell that there is a deep anger and bittness boiling away in him beneath the surface.

Guardian

Until the age of 7 Laz was raised by his father, Adam, whom he remembers as caring and hardworking. However, due to their extreme poverty, and other factors, Laz was removed from Adam's home and put into the foster system where he was raised by a series of foster situations of varying levels of abuse and neglect.

Looks

Tall, sharp, and skinny, Laz dresses like an evil Mr. Peanut. Has a mechanical left arm, and often wears a eyepatch over one eye.

Backstory

Laz is not cagey about his own childhood, happily discussing most of the sordid details in interviews. He was raised in poverty, and spent much of his youth being bounced around the foster system. At 14, due to the inaction of his then-foster family, he broke his arm and it eventually had to be amputated and replaced with a mechanical one. After this, Laz refused to trust or rely on others, and ran away to make his own way.

Laz is more careful talking about how spent his mid-teen years living on the street; it is likely that he is not being entirely truthful about working honest jobs at that time. Somehow, he clawed his way up from homelessness at 14, to the youngest CEO of an investment and holdings corperation at 16. While he was still under age he ran the business in secret from behind a shadowy internet presense. However, in the last few months after his birthday, Lazarus had appeared in public and claimed his idenity and business publically.

Death: Lazarus was murdered in the night by an assassin sent by a jealous business rival. In his anguish and fury, Laz manifested as a spirit and unlocked his psionic powers, killing the assassin with a bolt of lightning. With the help of his secretary, Laz covered up his own death, and has been running his business from beyond the grave. Due to emotions surrounding the childhood loss of his arm, Laz is searching for another way to return to life aside from replacing his body with a robot one.
