While not inherently talkative, Genevieve seperates herself from the wallflowers of her year by simply not being there. A shadow sorcerer by nature, she tends to sneak out of classes with ease to satisfy her curiosity about the world outside. Curfews and school regulations mean very little to her and her dream of one day enlisting in the military is constantly hindered by this disregard for rules and laws. Yet despite this dislike for authority Genevieve is anything but criminal. She's in fact quite friendly and helpful when asked, and would never do anything to endanger a fellow student. She simply likes to explore and feel free.

Genevieve hails from a moderately wealthy family, and being given all that she ever needed reflects in a general lack of passion. She wishes to become a soldier one day but doesn't put in much work to further this goal. She gets distracted easily by simple things. The only hobby she truly cares for is painting, whether it's on a canvas or on herself. This creativity is visible in her magic, present in the fluid handmovements she makes while casting a spell, like a stroke from a brush. Genevieve doesn't fully understand why she feels so drawn to the darkness but accepts it as a muse.
