Nomura

Nomura is a mysterious deep-sea creature with spines that can release a poison causing extreme drowsiness, vivid hallucinations, confusion, and in rare cases of extreme doses, psychosis. His lighter colors faintly glow blue underwater; this lures in curious victims who become his prey. But his release of these toxins is something he has complete control of, and he does tend to be harmless, using this ability solely for defense or finding food. He is large, roughly the size of a bull, but much bulkier. He cannot speak, however, he can use carefully released amounts of his toxin in order to communicate telepathically with those in the water in his immediate vicinity. Anyone outside of the water he is incapable of communicating with.

Nomura's home is the Mariana Trench, where sharkdog Cocuyo also calls home. Nomura considers Cocuyo to be his best friend, and the two are generally found together. Nomura is goofy, simple-minded, and generally very gentle.
