Backstory
Born at S.T.O.R.M. Headquarters, son of Helios Apollo and Diellza Martínez. His parents being both important commandants that were always working meant the faction is basically all he knows. He learned the whole rulebook by heart, and has spent most of his life at their library.When he was 6, his dad was suddenly gone, his disappearance being a classified secret. It has become his drive to one day become a commandant to gain access to the classified files and find his father, which is why he works so hard on whatever duty he's assigned to, and he never allows himself any mistakes.
His special training to be leader of Strike Squad started by the time he was 8, along with a classified experiment with Monsuno essence, coming from a stolen study by Dr. Klipse, which STORM plans to develop before him. In the experiment, Lux has been injected with the essence to prove the theory that it can improve his mental and physical capabilities. Due to the secrecy of the experiment he's the only Strike Squad member who has never undergone the required team training, which makes his fellow team members doubt his abilities and believe he got the position because of his mother's influence.
The experiment so far has been deemed "mostly a success", it has made Lux develop photographic memory, monsuno vision (not as powerful as those born with it but still useful), and increased his endurance by 45%. However there's also been reported side-effects, like chronic headaches, blind spots in his vision, dizzyness and coughing blood. He lies about having anemia when being questioned about his symptoms.
Because of all these years of training in isolation, Lux has never had any close friends, and is used to being alone. His social ineptness tends to make his job as leader even harder.
Relationships
 FIVE | Rao [Strike squad teammate] Rao and Lux met when Lux first joined Strike Squad as the new leader. Rao was a bit exceptical at first because of Lux's age but he quickly became one of his biggest supporters, being the only one who can sense how hard Lux works for his position and the toll it takes on him. They've both developed feelings for each other over time but due to the Commandant's rule that romantic relations are prohibited between team members, they have held themselves back. They are basically unaware of each other's feelings because of this. |
 THREE | Kumara [Strike squad teammate] Kumara wasn't really fond either of Lux being chosen as their leader, along with Kiowa they are very vocal about their criticism. However Kumara has warmed up to Lux over time, even if they still find him annoying. Kumara teases Lux every chance they get, and always get irritated of how unfazed he is to it. |
 FOUR | Itzel [Strike squad teammate] Itzel wasn't very happy either about the idea of their new leader being someone inexperienced and that didn't undergo the required team training they all did, but as soon as she met Lux she changed her mind completely. She's had a crush for Lux from the start (mainly because of his looks) and is always fawning over him and acting sweetly to gain his favor, despite of how oblivious Lux is to her feelings. |
 TWO | Kiowa [Strike squad teammate] Kiowa is the most unhappy about Lux's position, feeling it was unfair that Lux was chosen over him. He is the oldest in the team and worked really hard to show his value, yet someone younger and seemingly inexperienced got picked, so he has resented Lux ever since and always tries to oppose him. Lux secretly wishes for Kiowa to acknowledge him. |
 Jo [cousin] Jo is the son of Diellza's brother and Lux's uncle. Him and Lux used to be closer as kids, but eventually Jo started seeing Lux as a rival because of how much praise and attention he'd get. Basically joined TCT instead of S.T.O.R.M. like his whole family just for the sake of his self-proclaimed rivalry. Lux is completely oblivious to Jo's jealousy and still treats him the same, which of course only makes him angrier. |
