Please keep in mind, I don't know too much about Rainbow Rocket because I haven't played the Ultra games ~ but I kind of fell for the idea of bringing the greatest Rocket minds into one group! Glamma is part of an alternate universe of course, where their team of 7 had expanded their members to close to 50 ♥

In her 20's, Glamma was one of the top scientists of Team Rocket, working in direct contact with Giovanni for many years while still identifying as a male. When she came out as trans, she was rejected by many of the TR members and lost the respect of many who admired her work. Now a member of RR at 52, she works in the Research Department as Lead Scientist as invited by Giovanni; overseeing a team of 5. She spent her career researching, experimenting, discovering, inventing, and rescuing. That's right -- little did the rest of the Rockets know, she wasn't only on the team to help their cause, but to also do it in the most humane way possible. She's seen what the Rockets do to Pokemon of no use to them, especially elderly mons, and she had to take part in stopping it. Every chance she got, she'd rescue a Pokemon with the excuse of experimentation; said elderly Pokemon was then released, rehomed, or in rare cases, kept by Glamma herself. 

A special case of this was an elderly Dragonair, Charmeleon, and the famous Rocket Mewtwo. They were all on the verge of death, so the scientist figured out a way to merge the forms to save all of them; this new creature was called MONSONO, now her most valued companion.

Giovanni had heard of her achievement and was very impressed, resulting in hiring her for the RR team. Though beyond that, he never learned of her secret mission; so she continues to lead two lives with the Rainbow Rockets from Sunee, occasionally visiting Alola upon request.
