💕 -- 《 Cyllian 》

As the young third prince of a certain royal family, Cyllian himself was never ambitious for the throne. Rather, he was ambitious in other ways. Cyllian chose to focus most of his love and attention towards the studies of magic. Uninterested in the conventional ways of simply trying to case powerful spells he would seek out the rarer tomes within his family's library to gain insight on the various topics regarding magic's origin and other applications.

However, while studying up on magic was certainly the love of his academic life, Cyllian also holds a strong love and devotion for his own family. Though he would have no intentions for reaching for the throne himself, Cyllian was more than happy to help his elder brothers politically and publicly.

Cyllian's tendencies to live his life among the books made him rather naive of the world, but he certainly isn't naive about how the relationships within the royal families worked. His lack of ambition was well known among the circles yet his status of his birth made him unignorable-- something Cyllian used to his advantage.

To most nobles he was unassuming, his lack of interest in power made him easier to approach, easier to confide in, and easier to trust. He let himself be thought of as such-- through the sweet smiles on his face and gentle mannerisms at social gatherings, remniscent of his beloved older sister (who truly was and is pure of heart). And for the most part, he would keep the secrets and stories he learned close to him. However, to those that wound up threatening his family, his smile would easily turn cold and lack the usual sweetness that would come off from it. It was these nobles who's dirty little secrets he had no qualms with using to his advantage. To those nobles, Cyllian wasn't known as the sweet and simple prince with no ambition, but rather the cold and cunning, silent prince of the royal family. For be it through simple threats behind a pleasant smile, or through a rough message behind a hired man's blade, or simply no message whatsoever, Cyllian was the type that held nothing back when it came to getting rid of his family's enemies. His own hands may not be dirty, bit he certainly knows how to make his ends meet should an end be needed.

To the public, Cyllian's colder side would never be known. Rather, he was beloved by the people for his frequent appearances compared to his brothers who were working to gain the throne for themselves. The people saw him as kind as gentle as his sister, focusing his mind on studies rather than politics.

After leaving his home, Cyllian hardly shows that cunning side to others, prefering the kindness and smiles he learned from his sister. He enjoys, and often looks in fascination at what the world outside of the castle home he lived in has to offer for him.

As the third prince, Cyllian knew from a young age that his position was close to the crown, yet too far to ever bother trying to make that throne his. Which is what lead the young prince to find other ways to spend his time. As a young child books were an easy escape-- and a rather fascinating one at that. Though their library was large, Cyllian had all the time in the world to pick through everything. The library became like a second home for him, and he spent more time than one could ever imagine simply inside there.

However this young prince's life wasn't all sticking noses into books. His family is the Nerius family, one of the 7 families with the right to the throne of Rune Midgard. The Nerius family is a peculiar one among the 7. The Nerius family is a Matriarchy, and Cyllian being the younger twin of the next in line, there were still some expectations held of him.

Especially since, despite being fraternal twins, Cyllian and his sister still held such a close resemblance to each other that switching places between the two was easy. Typically for him, he held no qualms in dolling himself up and slipping into a dress at his sister's request, for her requests were benign, simple, like rejecting a suitor. The other times, though, were different. Yet he understood. Cyllian knew his sister was soft, and while he himself was spoiled, his sister was quite more so. There were meetings, topics that were far harsher than the simple politics his sister was just beginning to learn. As such, meetings with potential enemies or unscrupulous business partners were largely left to Cyllian under the guise of being his sister.

Eventually, Cyllian would grow tired of the constant need to pretend to be someone he is not, to play mind games with other nobles and royals. Cyllian found no wrong in helping his family the way he did, but it was nonetheless taxing. In the tightrope game of politics, Cyllian held a great deal of balance and power, but this power was something he never truly wished for. And his sister could see that in him. More naive and more spoiled than he, yet it was not as if she didn't have eyes and ears of her own. His sister, in her own desire to change was the one that urged Cyllian to go out and experience the world for himself.

Cyllian does eventually go out to do this, and frankly had only expected to last a few days, perhaps a week at most before crawling back home. But before he could, he met Neion in Prontera. After partying with him once, it was quickly apparent to Cyllian that he couldn't make it out in the world as an adventurer simply by himself, so he asked Neion to continue partying with him as a duo. Eventually, the two would grow closer, closer than simply just friends. To this day they still go around all of Midgard, adventuring together.

Acting

Cyllian is an expert at acting like his sister, who is far kinder and gentler than he is. He is capable of masking his true emotions under a kind looking smile and a gentle demeanor. No matter how harsh the words he utters, it is as if he is saying something extremely pleasant should he wish. In this same vein, he is as equally capable of hiding his emotions.

Ruler's Aura

A natural aura where people wish to follow his lead, his orders, and to serve him. He is conscious of this, and usually suppresses it, however there are times where he forgets to, intentionally or not.

Magic Proficiency

Highly versed in support magic, it was a conscious effort on his part to learn this type of magic after partying with Neion for so long. He is also capable of casting simple spells like fire bolt and the like with high accuracy,

Has a naturally decent tolerance towards alcohol.

Is self conscious about his heigh and baby face

Believes with all his heart that there's a chance that he'll grow taller

Just a bit silver tongued

Naturally good willing and caring, but isn't very used to things not going his way. Nor is he very used to believing that people are naturally good willed.

Extremely good at reading people's moods and expressions. Oddly enough, he isn't that good at reading Neion's moods or expressions...

His room at home is designed exactly like his sister's room to confuse any intruders that might manage to ever make it that far. He thinks it's embarassing so he doesn't let anyone know other than his family.
