Catch Joy

. . . The Joy family is a name known by all. It’s a family tradition to keep the surname Joy, no matter what. Even though Catch dons the Joy surname, she’s a VERY distant cousin. No matter for her though, the graciousness of the Joy lineage extends to any descendant, and with her name comes vast educational opportunities.

Catch was born into a wealthy family, able to live luxuriously on the island of Melemele. She was born with a natural wanderlust, ducking and diving out of her parent’s arms to go on adventures. On her ‘expeditions’, she’d often find Pokemon needing help. Without a second thought, she’d rush them home to concoct crude solutions to their problems. Miraculously, she’d manage without a scratch, Pokemon having a naturally docile disposition towards her. She was smart enough to catch onto this natural talent quickly and knew she had to seize her dreams. She vowed to take advantage of her wealth and name to lift those who need it most. Catch put her adventuring on a schedule and focused full throttle on her studies. She didn’t aspire to become a Joy out of convenience, but because she knew in her heart that her true job lay with those who can’t enjoy the luxury of a Pokecenter. Those trapped, lost, and hopeless are the ones that inspire Catch to turn rocks others wouldn’t, and to travel the world spreading hope and healing wherever she may go.
