Eric

Eric is very quiet and reserved, and hates talking to people or making small talk. He can be quite rude and blunt due to having poor social skills, so as to avoid offending people he mostly chooses to be silent. He hates the internet and social media and often blames it for the disconnect he feels from life/reality. He has very nihlistic views and believes everything is pointless, and that he was born different from other people. He is highly intelligent although he seems himself as lesser than other people due to his poor social abilities. He also suffers a lot from depression and suicidal thoughts. Ever since his first suicide attempt, his parents threw him out of his home due to not being able to cope with him, as he was extremely anti-social and would mostly refuse to speak to them. When he was a child they believed he was autistic. Despite this, his family is one of the only things he cares about, so to try and amend his relationship with them he agreed to join a group therapy meet and see a therapist. He also agreed to take anti-depressants. He does not believe it's helpful, and having to speak to strangers and make an effort has taken a huge toll on his mental health, though he refuses to stop going to it because he doesn't want to hurt his family again.

He is dating Muffin, although he doesn't like him that much. The only thing he sees in him is companionship with someone who also doesn't fit in, and someone who he can relate to. He feels more comfortable being himself as he knows that Muffin won't judge him for it. Muffin also seems to truely care about him and pays for his rent/therapy, and it just makes him feel better to know that at least someone loves him.
