• LONG FUR
  • Texture is more silky than floofy
• Tiny, delicate build
• Unusually long tail
• Nose and pawpads are pink with black freckles
• Tongue and inner ears are solid, non-spotty pink
• Glasswing butterfly wings
• Always wears a gold bell on a red ribbon!

Character Notes:

• Has bad luck magic, which causes mild misfortune to befall anyone in his presence
  • This magic is more powerful when his eyes are open (which they usually are, since he insists magic is just a superstitious myth that he doesn't believe in)
  • He could theoretically learn to control this magic so he can use it at will instead of just ambiently making the lives of anyone and everyone nearby marginally more inconvenient than usual, BUT that would require him to... admit that he has magic in the first place
• He grew up on Rion Peak, where his family still lives, but he's currently living in Morel Hollow as a sort of unofficial exchange student.
• His family is very traditional and he's spent most of his life feeling kind of bitter about it because it made it really hard and scary for him to come out as trans. He waited until he was in Morel Hollow before sending them a letter to come out to them! Thankfully, they were far more accepting than he expected -- they're very proud to have a boy calico in their family!!
• The bell he wears was a gift from his girlfriend, Shmi, and it's hands down his most treasured possession.
• His parents' unexpected and overwhelming acceptance combined with his girlfriend's optimistic outlook on life have really shaken Haru's bitter worldview, and now he's having a bit of an identity crisis. If the world isn't actually terrible, and traditions aren't actually the downfall of society, then who even is he and what does he believe??
• He deals with his complicated emotions mostly by writing poetry and confiding in his girlfriend and best friend (who, incidentally, have wildly different outlooks on the world and therefore often leave him feeling more conflicted than he did before he confided in them).
• He has a rebellious streak, but not TOO rebellious. Spray-painting abandoned buildings, listening to edgy music, and writing angsty poetry is one thing, but He's actually quite afraid of anything with a risk of hurting someone or getting him in trouble.
• Tisias roped him into playing D&D with him and his friends. He's not that invested in the game itself, but he does love the atheist cleric character Tisias helped him create.
