a demigod born from the fire of war created by modern day Ares. He is technically considered his son but has been refered to as "Old World Ares" because of how much he acts like the first incarnation of the war god. The current Ares deemed his powers too terrible for humanity and letting him roam around unchecked would spell calamity and destruction for humanity. Ares sealed his powers in the moon and cast him down to the world to live life like a human. However, this only caused Faren to feel nothing but contempt for deities and filled him with vengance. Only on a Blood Moon can Faren start to regain a bit of his powers back. So its only a matter of time before he can regain his full strength and take on a now old and much weaker Ares.
