Alekos is my designated himbo with a healthy dose of religious trauma~

He comes from a large family of seven, which consists of his father (Vasillios), mother (Sahra), older sister (Caesenna), younger twin brothers (Isidorus and Wymsin), and youngest sister (Livia). Growing up with a father as a Paladin, Alekos was taught the ways of the gods and to respect them, particularly that of the Lion. He idolized his father, and put him on an untouchable pedestal not only because of his physical prowess, but because of his unrelenting kindness and courage. His biggest dream was to become a fighter just like his dad, protecting others and bringing honor to his family. However, his dream was crushed when his father was killed in battle by Tycho, Vas’s brother and a worshiper of the Bear, a rival god who revels in the deaths of his enemy's champions. On that day, Alekos abandoned the gods just as he felt as he had been abandoned, and swore vengeance against the man who killed him. At the age of 13, Alekos fled his family home in search of gaining the strength that his father had, and maybe, he would make him proud.  As an Iconoclast fighter, Alekos rejects all things divine and would rather forge his own destiny than listen to what some gods have to say.

However, Alekos has made some recent discoveries. He has started to glow/light up whenever experiencing intense emotions, and after doing a bit of research, he discovered that his father was the son of the Lion, the god of light, making himself a demigod. This power is only given to the first born of the bloodline, however, which leads Alekos to discover that his sister (who is alive) had mysteriously died and been resurrected, causing the divine powers to be passed down to him. This has obviously caused some more complex thoughts towards the Pantheon and his own father, as well as his feelings toward himself and his general inability to protect those that he cares about the most. Savior complex, incoming!

Although his father's death is what drives his larger motives, Alekos is a friendly and outgoing young man who wants to get the most out of life as he can. He is unintentionally a troublemaker, although he would argue that trouble just follows him. Between cracking jokes and being a bit stupid, Alekos makes a living by working as an underground pit fighter.
