Part unicorn and part elf, Saren was created to be light in times of darkness. He was a pure soul that took to combating against evil each time a moment arose. Praised for his accomplishments and worshipped almost like a god. Then one day, a task came upon him that he could not complete. He took an item of evil from a group, but the only way to destroy it was to soak it in the blood of an angel. Unable to bring himself to ask an angel to sacrifice itself, he kept the object with him instead in order to keep it from the hands of evil. The object slowly affected him until he was nothing but a shell of his former self. Not caring about what happens to the world anymore, he sits in his home, letting those few that still follow loyally by his side do as they please.
