About
+ Parents cared more about grades than sons mental well-being.
+ Grew up in upper-middle class, but despite getting all the material things he wanted, he never got the emotional.
+ The fact he spent more time studying than hanging out with other kids meant that he was often a victim of bullying. Further driving him to his breaking point.
+ Eventually he’d snap, beating up his bullies and getting the attention he wanted. Because of this he’d start to develop a short-temper.
+ He still didn’t have friends, but he certainly got respect from his peers.
+ Eventually, once he’d realize he was definitely alone and the situation wouldn’t get better until he’d leave, he’d graduate highschool and leave while his parents were out.
+ If he gets rare and legendary pokemon he’ll be respected, right? He’ll be feared. He’ll certainly get the attention he wants nonetheless.
Design
- He loves anime. It provided a means for temporary escape growing up.
- Takes a while to warm up to others.
- Worked out a lot to be able to take down bullies.
- Loves computers, grew up on the internet. Loves to mod games and various handheld technologies.
Palette
Character
Sanitas was raised by the internet and the families hired maid. His own parents neglecting him for a large majority of his childhood. Sanitas’ mother and father only cared about the things they could brag to their friends and colleagues about. His ability to cook, play piano and violin, and not to mention his high marks in school. They couldn’t care less about his school life or how miserable he was in between those recitals and teacher conferences. How every day at his private school he was subjected to bullying due to his own anti-social nature.
The bullying would’ve continued up until Sanitas reached the age of 16. Where he’d finally snap and beat his bully to a pulp. Sending a message to the onlookers that he had enough. And it’d have only taken that beating to get the one thing he truly wanted. Attention. Positive attention. Sanitas’ parents saw the need for a pet and so they bought Sanitas’ his first pokemon. A froakie. The bullies had stopped bothering him, fearing that they too would be at the receiving end of Sanitas’ wrath. People were kind to him for once, but Sanitas could see that it wasn’t because they did it out of the kindness of their own heart, but because they feared him. And if fear is what it takes to be respected and cared for, then that’s just what he’ll do.

Perception is a Mind Skill that represents a character’s awareness of their environment and attention to detail. Characters with a high Perception Rank have not only honed senses but a trained mind that knows where to look for details others would normally miss.

Strength:
Intuition is a Spirit Skill that represents one’s reliability when making decisions from the gut or gaining insights into a situation through instinct. Intuition can often be thought of as encompassing common sense, and characters with a high Intuition Rank will often find themselves making the right decision on a hunch without necessarily understanding why.

Girlfriend with a mystery
If you were to ask Sanitas to describe his relationship with Reimi, he’d be too tongue-tied for words. When he started the adventure he wasn’t planning on finding a romantic partner. He had never realized just how little love was involved in his life until he met someone he could give it to. However, despite being together with the formerly named “Alice”, the woman is still a mystery to him. There’s a lot he doesn’t know, (like why she was traveling with a different I.D) and a handful of harmful coping mechanisms of hers he’d like to help her get over. But it’s a good thing he likes mysteries and he has his own issues to get over as well.

His best friend, his bro. His something is happening here and he doesn’t know. Kamil is the optimistic ray of sunshine to Sanitas’ clouds. Just hearing the older teen’s voice is enough to bring a smile on his face.

She’s another mystery he’d like to solve. Preferably sooner than later. She has a power to call upon a legendary and use them to resurrect dead Pokémon. The little girl is covered in dog bite marks and scratches, yet she always finds a reason to smile. Who’d put a kid through this? What does Team Underground want?

She’s a psychic and boy is Sanitas worried he’s the only one the cares about it. The older teen still see’s the girl as a friend, one he’d fight to protect, but he’s afraid of the unknown. What can’t she do? How’d she get the scar? And what other secrets is she keeping?
Ariella Eilonwy
A "wealth" of kindness
The two have had a rough start, but Sanitas considers her a friend. Sanitas is pretty sure she’s wealthy, but doesn’t exactly care much about it. Having enough experience brushing with the affluent from his own personal life. She’s kind, seemingly vanilla, with a need to always succeed. If she doesn’t succeed... she takes it a bit more personal than a normal person.
