Tally, formerly a prince of the Light Kingdom, was cursed by To Do, along with his brother, Luminous, to turn into a monster under moonlight (with Luminous transforming under sunlight). Tally grew up isolated and rarely interacted with his brother, but after the trauma of transforming into a monster and feeling ostracized from his kingdom, steps down, forcing Luminous to take his place. While Luminous is happy in his position, he feels awful knowing that he's forced Luminous into his responsibility and dedicates much of his time to making Luminous happy. He wants Luminous to have the childhood he didn't have despite their curses. He is happy to go out of his way and venture through the night to be with Luminous, though will go out of his way to stop Luminous from doing the same in the daytime for him.
