Profile
Rather than attending a university and pursuing a career in business as her parents urged her to, Rumi's overwhelming desire to become an idol and make millions was her spontaneous plan after high school. After working diligently with help from her sister and friends, Rumi was able to solidify her idol persona and began to make her move onto the stage as 'Kitsu' when the Squid Sisters slowly faded from the idol scene. Unfortunately, Rumi’s fame never skyrocketed like Off The Hook's did, but nevertheless, she still does her best performing for the very few in her fanbase! After all, she has to pay the bills around here somehow.
Outside of her idol persona, Rumi is pretty easy-going and quirky, abiet a bit introverted. She plays video games in her free time and, truthfully, wanted to get famous on GooTube as a gamer before the whole idol-craze happened.

Rumi never dabbled in the arts of music or dance in her life; she's only gotten this far in her idol career because of her love for video games, anime, and vocaloid, which shows in the way her songs and choreography are written. She's lucky enough to have such supportive friends, as her former high school buddies has her covered by proofreeding music and step sheets.
On the other hand, Rumi's parents...gives her the side-eye whenever she mentions the word 'idol' in their presence. Their only comment on the matter is: 'you're an adult now, you can do whatever you want under your own roof.' While her parents are openly neutral on her decisions, Rumi can't help but feel inferior to her much more sucessful younger step-sibling and feels a tinge of regret, but continues living day by day and keeping her routine the same. Although heavy with regrets, she can't say her life is miserable: She's made so many new friends through her idol career.
