Sumeer

Tutorial guy. Easy-going and hard to rile up. Sumeer spends a lot of time hanging out by the fountain in the square, doing calligraphy performance art and selling his work. 

After graduating highschool, he took up an apprenticeship with a calligrapher for several years. Now, he is currently attending a trade school for graphic design. His performances help pay for his classes and supplies.
Shidao had originally been ordering from his master, but when they saw that Sumeer’s work was of a higher quality they personally got in touch with him instead. He doesn’t really know what the talismans are for, but he doesn’t ask; he assumes they’re good luck charms.

• An only child with parents who support his work.
• Well-connected due to his social nature and knows the city layout intimately. Has no ties to the underground aside from doing work for Shidao.
• Friendly with Crash Clowns as they frequent the same art scene.
• Doesn’t know much Chinese but is familiar with the stroke orders and researches to make sure he has things correct. He’s studied a variety of calligraphy styles from Eastern, Western, and Arabic styles.
