A 'My Neighbour Totoro' themed Perttus! A bat (and cat)-like closed species that is now defunct. Their info describes them as being fully devoted to their owner, to the point of sacrificing themselves to save them or falling into deep depression if abandoned or separated from them. They are kept and cared for in a manner similar to house cats, apart from the addition that they are capable of short-range flight.
As far as I'm aware, this is the only 'themed' member of the species that was made, so their traits may not properly match up with anything listed. They appear to have:
