PHYSICAL FEATURES

Height: 6'4" - Weight: 339 lbs.

Appearance:

Arani and Amo are conjoined twins and a fused entity with separate brains.

Arani has orange and silky plant fibers that look like strands of hair. Her eyes are very foreign, having yellow sclera and green plus-shaped pupils. Her ears are pointed at the tip, and at the bottom are tubes that act as irrigation pathways for her body system. There's a second pair of tubes that are attached to her shoulders, and helps cycle water back to Arani's head.

Amo has no visible facial features (save for two very simple eye organs that appear as very subtle vertical slits), but he has the most control over their body. His neck and torso is essentially a plant stem, and his limbs and fingers are leaves that have evolved more over time.

Their shared legs are digitrade and very strong, sturdy enough to maneuver their large body around with relative ease (although they can never be all that speedy). Their fingers and toes are functioning plant roots, and have no biological need for nails.

ABILITIES

Light absorption: They can absorb and store photons within their body from virtually any source, from any number of distances away.
Regeneration/sickness resistance: No matter how severe the injury, Arani and Amo can bounce back. They can even reattach severed limbs and grow them back when lost. (This even includes reattaching their head, although that takes considerably longer than growing back a limb.) They can also isolate whatever sickness is
in their body to one area of the body so it can fall off, leaving the rest of the system safe.

Plant gene manipulation: When Amo pollinates another plant species, he recodes the species' DNA and gives it and its offspring sentience. Most plants aren't self-aware, but have some level of observable consciousness.

PERSONAL

Personality:

The two are pretty much polar opposites- Arani is a hopeful, quiet individual who'd rather let their actions speak
than her words and Amo is boisterous, cynical and nihilstic with a knack for piloting.

They've been stuck together since they bloomed, and at this point they have no such thing as privacy from each other.
Essentially, they tolerate their sibling and their perpetual closeness to each other, but only because they work well together.
Otherwise, they have a tendency to clash and be irritated by one another.

Due to their unique cultural upbringing, their personalities are rather subdued at times. They often speak nonverbally
to each other, but this still leaves them wordlessly glaring each other and giving hard nudges.

History:

On their homeplanet Edwion, a handful of young ones are chosen to leave their world to go on a quest to tend to the plant life
around the universe. Arani and Amo, then known as "Araniyamo" were one of the special few, and when they were still
just a few decades old they were placed on their space vessel and sent off into the milky darkness.

Travelling was difficult and turbulent, meeting space debris and long periods with no water, but every once in a while
they would be able to land and gather up nutrients to continue their trek as well as take care of whatever photosynthesizing
life they could find.

They continue to wander the stars, tending to all of the bizarre extraterrestrial flora out there.  

Extra:

• Amo learned to speak verbal languages and eventually English long before Arani, as she was selectively mute for a time.
• At first glance, most people mistake Arani and Amo as being one entity. This never ceases to piss
  Amo off.
• The duo moves very, very slowly due to their mass and conservation of energy. Their average walking speed is about 1 mph.
• Arani has no biological need to blink and only does so occasionally for social reasons.
• Additionally, her brows are very inflexible. They can be used to emote, but it's difficult and uncomfortable.
