Jacques is a kindhearted doctor who always tries to support the people around him. He can't use magic, but nobody in the city really did for much of his life, so he specialized in taking care of the sick and some odd jobs patching up people from bar fights. He generally works alone, but lately he has taken on an assistant to serve as a nurse in his clinic. Jacques is usually very outgoing and most people in town know him in some way or another.

10 years ago he dated Arac, and he has never quite gotten over that relationship. He wants to become friends with Arac again, but knew it probably wouldn't work out due to their schedules. The last time the two had spoken for a long period of time was when Arac had gotten injured trying to break up a fight in his tavern, but Jacques had gotten the impression that it wasn't really the best time to talk.
