There can be no corruption within these halls... | | | Maul is a dweller from Oratory who takes after a devil. She is a trickster and a lover of chaos, but she's not malicious by nature. She tends to stick only with those she is friends with, but any other dweller can notice something off about her. But whatever that is doesn't seem to be ruining the fun for her.
Personality
Maul is a chaotic trickster, who seems to have no issue in dragging others into malicious pranks and trouble. She's also known to be very hyper, talkative, and is always ready to take the lead in any given sitation. Maul can be sort of controlling at time, but not in a manipulative way. She just can't stop herself from taking the reigns when she can.

Story [SPOILER WARNING]
"Asbeel"
Once there was a devil of Oratory known as Asbeel (but her peers called her Azzy). Azzy was considered a chaotic sweetheart to others, for her funny pranks and mischevious nature. She can come off as rude, but many have grown to accept it as a part of her. Everything seemed alright for Asbeel, until she got bugged.
Not many dwellers are stuck with bugs forever. Bugs can be fixed. However, rumors have always existed of what happens when a bug evolves. Some believe it can rewrite you entirely, making you an imposter of your former self. Azzy doesn't know what it did to her exactly, but he knows he will never be the same. And considering how those who are "bugged" are banished, Azzy is terrified of the idea of being erased. So he became more reclusive. His friendly yet tricky nature became more malicious. He doesn't even to be mean, he can't help but hurt everything he interacts with.
"Maul"
Azzy was no more more, and only Maul remained. Maul was a shell fo Azzy, highlighting the more devious traits in him and burying the kindness. Even when he tries to be nice, he is unable to. His nature has been altered in some way, and every day he changes more and more.
Despite everything, Maul has still a few good things in her life. She's good friends with Pari (due to Pari's adoration for Oratory dwellers). She enjoys Harlow's company and tries to get him to be more optimistic. It serves as a nice distraction from the inevitability of being too far gone and banished to purgatory.

Trivia
- Originally, Maul was meant to be a sibling of Paranoia (even having a design more similar). However, this was changed into them being good friends instead.
- Maul's voice reference is Mustache Girl
- Luciano's name was originally Morrow, but that was before I decided to make Maul her own character than a redesign of a pre-existing character.
- Maul was intended to have more of a Halloween-like appearance, but it was changed to make her fit in with Oratory.

- The "mouth" on Maul's face doesn't open. The mouth on her stomach is the one that speaks.
