Noriko Asuka

Noble woman who unwittingly married the Jotun, Toshiro, while he was transformed to appear human. She only discovered that he wasn't human when their daughter, Hikari, was born with blue hair and purple eyes. Disgusted that she married a non-human and enraged that she was deceived, she abadoned both and sent out an order for both to be either leave the country or be executed.

Noriko, later remarried a human and bore another daughter, Keiko. Her past married and child were a well kept secret, that was only revealed when Hikari walked into her chambers. While Hikari was hoping for a heartfelt reunion with the mother she never knew, she was met with disgust. Noriko would have had her daughter imprisoned if not for the intervention of the Archmage, Elyssa. While Hikari did not find the mother she was looking for she did find a sister in Keiko.
