A bright and idealistic climate researcher. Esther takes her work seriously and doesn't give up easily. She is however a bit of pushover and has trouble saying no when someone asks for help. As a result she often ends up staying late in the lab. She values her family a lot and looks up to her siblings.

Esther likes to collect fun hairclips and wears a different one every day. She lives off black coffee. She has not had much luck in the dating department. Her favourite season is Winter but she is prone to the sniffles.

Despite being in the field for many years, people still mistake her for a grad student due to her youthful face and casual way of talking.

Origin
Youngest of three siblings, Esther graduated with honors from Harvard (Environmental Science & Engineering) though she's not one to brag. Her eldest sister moved to the UK with her family for work, and her brother was part of the ill-fated first expedition that went missing in the Mountains. She joined the new expedition as a reseracher to find out what happened to him.
Turning Point
Madness descended upon the new expedition group as they ventured up the mountain. After a snowstorm they discovered the captain's body in the snow, like an angel with broken wings. Esther retrieved her brother's watch, carved from a strange opal stone with patterns of jet black, blood red and iridescent rainbows.
Presently
Only one person returned from the new expedition. Esther is missing, presumed deceased along with the rest of the group. Last seen still in possession of the opal watch.
