Feral and confused, Amalthea came to her new senses with little knowledge but to Hunt and to Eat.
Now she wanders the forests where her foliage-like coverings can conceal her now-towering stature, wary of all humans she comes across after her violent and painful first encounters with them.
Far from unintelligent, but merely unsocialized, Amalthea is a heavily curious and easily bored cypher when her hunger is sated. Those patient enough to get past her inability to speak may soon find a powerful companion at their side.
A carnivorous plant researcher in her former life, she'd been out on one of her usual field expeditions when she lost her life as a normal Grem on a meteor impact. Reformed and mutated as a towering, terrifying Cypherus, the memory of her former self was obliterated nearly as much as her mortal body.
