Amaranth

Mara just like many Metmas that studied at the main base is very closed off when it comes to his feelings and interests, he finds them to be unnecessary to discuss with others about and keeps them to himself. Growing up he wasn't particularly close to anyone and kept mainly to his studies. For the most part Mara finds aiding or working with people as a way to take advantage of them and use them for anything that he may need especially when it comes to research and helping him get into a higher ranked station. 

When he begins to work with Valentin his views on helping people and keeping things to himself begins to change and he starts to become more expressive with others and the things he takes interest in.

Mara likes to keep his hair in a neat style and has very long ears that he takes pride in, he can usually be seen wearing his lab coat when he is working in the labs on projects and when out of the labs he usually wears casual clothes or very fancy clothes when he's in a mood to dress nice.

Mara started off studying in one of the space Metma bases to become a researcher at a young age. Once he was allowed to work under one of the many stations he was sent to work under Alina's station which is considered to be one of the lower rank stations due to the low amount of research they actually release to the Metma's main base as well as Alina being more open to acknowledging the feelings of those around her and valuing the lives of those that she researches. 

Mara disliked being stationed at such a low ranked base and wanted to be reassigned to a much better ranked base so he decided to research into witches and magic to produce some type of research that would be noticeable and valuable to the higher ups at the main base. As a side to that research he decided to continue his research in creating prosthetics that can be compatible and work with people who use magic without being damaged from using too much magic. It was also around this time that he decided to take in a demon in the station to be his assistant and form a contract with him so he can understand what it is like to be a witch under a contract

Mara decides to help Valentin with giving him a prosthetic arm in return to observe him and gain information about witches and magic that Metmas do not have info on.
