She inherited her grandparent's great weapons and property, however after they passed away, her alcoholic and gambling father moved in and he carelessly used Alana's inherited money to the point where he put her into huge debt. Knowing this and not wanting to deal with it, her father disappeared and left Alana with a shit load of money to pay and give back. The loan sharks (coming from Izuna's company) that came to her house took notice of the weapons in her room and let the company know. Izuna, taking interest in her, offered for her to join CA to help pay off her loans.
