Ikah suffers from hanahaki disease, and has been for quite a while. The disease has set it's mark on her; she's almost fully blind, and her eyes are all grey and clear, due to the roots growing close to her skull. She has sprouts growing in her lungs, which makes her cough up both flowers and blood frequently. She's often seen crying, both because she is incredibly sad, but also because the roots are affecting her nasolacrimal ducts. She's rather melancholic, and has pretty much given up on her life, since she cannot have the one that she desires.

She seems close to dying, but has accepted her destiny. Surgery is not even possible at this stage, so it's either death - or to win the love of her life; but that's nearly impossible, hence her chosen one is deeply in love with someone else.

Her only hope is to find someone else, before her time runs out.
