Saint Moreau

My ocs for my personal lore project called Saint Moreau

Saint Moreau is the name of a city in my world building inspired by the second French empire, the inquisition/witch trials, and some religious philosophy like Hermeticism and Gnosticism. Saint Moreau is also a figure in my lore known for founding the city and driving out the witch coven that once lived there. Saint Moreau is not the biggest city in the empire (the empire is called Lacienne) nor is it the richest, but it is very religiously significant and treated similarly to Jerusalem IRL

There are no other fantasy races in this universe except humans and witches :) it is very low magic, and supernatural things are rare and coveted/shunned. Female witches are persecuted and killed, and male witches are forced to conscript to fight imperial wars for Lacienne. Yvonne is the main character of my lore ^_^
