Ina

Ina's ability New Sound entails singing strange melodies to plants (and very occasionally creatures) to cause them to grow and heal. She works with her contract wizard rehabilitating the neglected and extremely overgrown grounds of an old manor or university (still undecided which). Ina is diligent and clever, and though she can sometimes be a bit fussy and critical, she has a strong, kind heart, and is a lovely and rejuvenating presence in any environment.

She and Tess met after making contracts with the same wizard, and they are bickering soulmates. (No one is sure if they are platonic or romantic soulmates, and they prefer it that way.) Ina is more circumspect, which means she occasionally has to drag Tess (and their wizard) out of trouble Tess has caused, but Tess enjoys an adventure and is always unrepentant about that. Besides, she argues, their wizard gets into MORE trouble without her, so her influence isn’t ALL bad.
