✓Humans- humans are amazing to her. Despite thinking that the gems and other monsters are more superior she treats humans with the most respect and kindness- she often looks at them with a look of wonder and curiosity.
✓Chocolate and other deserts- even though she does not need to eat she’s a complete sucker for human food. This in turn makes her gain some weight, something completely new to her.
✓Herself- Sapphire loves herself. She thinks she’s quite kind, pretty and unique. She’s not a narcissist in any sense, it’s the kind of self-love that’s healthy. She thinks everyone should love herself the way she does.
✓Fashion- She’s completely mesmerized my Earth fashion- she even reads magazines and tries to keep up with the latest trends.
✓Earth animals- her favourites are giraffes, kittens and puppies. She’s fascinated by zoo animals as her planet does not have any kind of creatures.
Dislikes
✗Other women- It’s no coincidence that she’s often surrounded by males. She dislikes other women with a passion. She’s very jealous of them, especially if they’re prettier than her. She tries to maintain her composer around them but inside she’s incredibly bitter.
✗Spicy food- While she adores human food, she can’t take spice. It makes her tongue hurt and sometimes even leaves her in tears.
✗Reading- She really wanted to likes this. She really did. However, while it hurts to admit, her intelligence is below average. In her planet reading was unnecessary so she never quite learned how to do it well. It frustrates her. She’s not good at it, therefore she dislikes it.
✗Ugly clothing- as mentioned before, she’s quite the fashion Queen. Ugly clothing such as sweat pants and baggy basic sweaters makes her cringe.
✗Hard Labor- that’s all she did on her planet. Work, work, work. She always hated it. She likes to be spoiled- and on Earth every human admires her as she always brings a positive energy. She loves the attention and she’s a big fan of not doing anything.
Personality
Sapphire is quite the troublemaker. With a huge smile on her face she loves herself and everyone around her. While she was quite a depressed gem, self-loathing and insecure due to her being deformed, and below average skills. Everything changed after gaining her human form. She started to open up- she became emotionally stronger and finally felt happy with herself- like she was meant to be human all along, even if she remained a gem on the inside, or even if she was blue in tint and had an eye on her hair. She found herself to be completely beautiful.
She’s bubbly and outgoing, she loves going out and meeting new humans, especially human boys. She finds herself falling in love twice a day by handsome men. She’s usually very flirty with them and comes out quite strong, which sometimes scares them off. She’s a hopeless romantic and ever since her previous lover died she has been desperate to find someone new- someone who’s romantic as she is, and someone who loves her as much as she loves them.
She loves cracking jokes and being friendly to everyone around her. People consider her extremely funny and entertaining, resulting in a large group of friends that she deeply cares about. She sometimes looks at wonder at her friends (mostly made up of human males) and wondered how she got such an amazing life.
However, as perfect as Sapphire seems to strangers and her friends, she is quite insecure when it comes to her love life. She loves getting attention and being spoiled by men- she loves sex and even loves rejecting them when they confess, as bad as it sounds. It just makes her seem like she’s in control or empowered. She’s incredible jealous of other women, even coming as far as being bitter and annoyed by them. She always wants to be “the pretty” one in the group. She knows how toxic and idiotic she’s being but it’s just a feeling she just cannot help. She’s very self-aware and it’s a dark side she cannot show to other people, even if it hurts her.
Facts:
She’s always been intrigued by Earth Sapphires and other gemstones, especially with their meaning. She giggles as the personalities were quite on par with the Earth gemstones- they even looked alike!
She loves pain- as a gem she could not feel any kind of physical pain, even when her limbs broke and fell apart. When she felt pain for the first time with a human’s body it felt almost orgasmic. It hurt and she loved it- it was such an amazing and unique feelings that she never felt before. While she does not hurt herself she’s always hoping to feel the pain again. She’s a bit of a masochist.
She loves movies, anime and television shows- especially comedies and dramas. She loves to cry at cheesy and romantic movies and laugh at silly dumb comedies- she can laugh at anything, no matter at how bad the joke is. She even admires and had crushes on several celebrities.
When she came to Earth she did not know what cars, televisions or computers were. She was surprised when she figured out that the humans where not trapped on the square TV or getting kidnapped by the moving vehicles.
It took her various years to learn the human language- when she first gained her human form she could only make some noises and squeals.
She loves all kinda of weathers- hot or rainy. Though she has preference for freezing days. She loves the cold- how it makes her shiver and how it makes her skin get goosebumps all over.
Fears:
Other gems. - She’s terrified of other gems. She scared they’ll find her and take her back to the dull lifeless planet. She’s afraid to be punished for not obeying her planet’s rules. She’s considered another runaway, but she’s confident they won’t find her.
Death- She spend all her life seeing her friends and loved ones die through the years. She knows it’s just a part of life- that’s what humans do- die. It’s sometimes hard to maintain her optimist when death starts to approach. After the traumatizing death of her lover she now fears the death of others. Sometimes even obsessing about it.
Pigeons- She knows this is a silly fear but she simply hates those rats with wings. They poop everywhere and she just finds them completely disgusting. She loves all kinds of animals on Earth but pigeons just frighten her.
Background
Sapphire was always a weakling in her home planet, she hated how she was- she felt useless. Her powers were insufficient and she couldn’t even do the smallest things. She was quite depressed and felt like she needed to escape her hard life. However, she was unable to, due to her strict and pressuring creators- something that the humans can call parents. Creators were something she could never understand- gems did not need procreation, however, they needed to be created. When gems are “born” they are already assigned a partner of the same kind- and when their bodies are fully devolved around 300 years they’re supposed to put one part of their bodies on the dirt and apply heat and pressure to the spot, a power every gem processes. A few 100 years later a small humanoid gem is born, almost like a human baby. A Sapphire is quite high on the hierarchy so she was expected to do amazing things. Like a dictatorship, gems are raised to do one thing only- war and creation. No feelings, no free will and nothing more than obliging orders.
Sapphire was born deformed- with no eyes or vision. Sapphires were always born with one eye but her face seemed to be completely blank. She was deemed useless but her creators still felt love for the newly-born gem- they kept her and took her to a “Doctor”- a Pink Tourmaline, dedicated to healing deformed and nearly shattered gems. Sapphire had one unique aspect about her- her considered weird and rare long blue hair as most gems are bald. Tourmaline’s power was limited but she was able to create one eye, but not on her face, as faces require a lot of power to heal- she created vision on her tied hair.
Sapphire always hated her partner- another Sapphire, her body shiner and another shade of blue, a lot more beautiful than her. Sapphire hated her- maybe it was jealousy or maybe was the fact that she was perfect- nice and sweet to everyone but with a serious superiority complex. She made Sapphire felt small and useless. Something she completely hated.
All Sapphires were created to be missionaries- spreading their creations all over other planets. When she reached 100 years old, still a young child she was sent to Earth with her partner, a planet she never heard of. In her spaceship she saw it- it was the bluest planet she has ever seen- quite different from her white coloured home. Sapphire thought it was completely beautiful. After years on traveling and arguing with her partner over the smallest things they finally reached it- the blue planet. She was completely fascinated. Her eye was sparkling out of wonder and excitement. She saw cars, buildings, animals, strange letters and the best of all: humans. They were beautiful: two eyes- something she has never seen- skin ranging from pale white to dark brown, hair in every shade and what seemed to be soft and squishy bodies of flesh. Everything contrasted with a gem’s hard bodies, with long sharpen limbs and no clothes. She wanted to be one of them.
One of the gems’ abilities is shape shifting into something, only if they have a bit of their DNA. She only needed one drop of a human’s DNA and she could become one of them... gems can only shape shift once in their lives, once shifted they cannot return to their original form or any other. A process too scary for most gems.
Humans were used to gems and other Monsters visiting their planet- mermaids were always strongly praised in their world and humanoid dragons with wings could be seen everywhere. It was amazing how many humans could be seen living peacefully with monsters. Gem’s planet was always inhabited by gems and gems only. This one was completely lively and full of different species she has never seen before. All she knew is that humans were simple- no wings, no tail, no extra eyes or mouths. Sapphire felt at home.
She soon became obsessed with the human race, especially with human males. She noticed all gems have a feminine curvy form, just like human women. Males felt so different to her, so beautiful and unique. She wanted more. She wanted to explore every inch of a male’s body. Even though she identified herself with the body of a woman she wanted her partner to be a man- not another Sapphire. She had to make a decision: she ditched her partner, she ditched her planet’s rules and she ditched her mission. She wanted to be human, however, they seemed to be scared of her and her unusual eye and standard gem’s body. She learned that all she need was a drop of blood to blend in.
Scared yet confident she knew that she would become one of them, no matter the cost. However, she could never harm them.
After some years of being on Earth and trying to meet a human male she finally found someone- a young man with curious blue eyes, red hair and white skin sprinkled with freckles. It was him who approached her first- he had never seen a gem before, especially not one looking as peculiar as her. He wanted to interview her, which she found interesting. She smiled for the first time in her life. She fell in love with that boy. They spent all days together- and it was there where she was able to gain her human form. The boy poked his finger with a needle and let her absorb his blood with a cold theetless and tongueless mouth. Her body started to change- while her frame was still blue in tint and her eye remained in the same placement, she became what she always pictured: a beautiful girl with flesh, organs and a reproductive system, something she studied in books. She found herself to be gorgeous, even if her face remained blank-something she could hide with her long bangs. The boy covered her with his jacket as her frame was nude. He seemed embarrassed, though she didn’t know why... humans were just silly like that. Why hide the naked body when it’s something so beautiful?
Even though her body did not require eating or drinking she could finally taste food, smell the flowers and breathe air, and best of all- feel the pleasure of making love. She was in love with herself.
Although, the passage of time was cruel for the young girl, and as the years passed, she saw the boy she loved, the boy that she spent all those years together with, vanish. Something the humans called death. She cried and cried until her hair was dripping with tears. She hated being immortal but nothing on Earth could shatter her- because even shapeshifted into a human she continued being an alien gem. She never seemed to fall in love again- not after her big loss. She was afraid she would suffer again. However, she became desperate- desperate for another love, for another boy to love her like before…
In the present, she’s a happy girl. She got stronger and while sadden and hurt by the death of her previous lover she seemed to have made a lot of friends, intrigued and curious by her strange form. She was still fascinated by the human race. She did her best to appreciate and respect their culture, no matter how silly it seemed. She fell in love with fashion and food. She knew gems and monsters were superior- immortal, stronger and more powerful. But she can’t help it- she now felt completely human. As if it were her at home...

Her first lover- Elijah-
Elijah, or Eli as Sapphire called him was a feisty red headed boy- kind, sweet and determined. He was the one who let Sapphire consume his blood to gain a human form. He was a reporter who was interviewing various kinds of Monsters when he met her. He found Sapphire completely fascinating- with her long pointy limbs, blank face and strange eye. Sapphire found him to be hilarious- even if his jokes were dumb and bad. They spent hours talking about whatever came up- nature, Earth, Space, gems... Elijah was completely fascinated by the creature and Sapphire felt the same. They fell in love with one another rather quickly- Sapphire felt like she could finally love herself. They were together every day and never got tired of one another. Sure, they had their fights but they always made up with a kiss. Sapphire loved his kisses as she finally had lips to appreciate them. She found that boy to be completely perfect, like an angel, she was totally blinded by love. He even gave her a human nickname: Sofia. A name only he could call her.
The passage of time was quite painful however, as she saw her young boyfriend get older and older by each passing day- 30, 40, 50- She was there for every birthday. She did not know what death was, so it came by surprised when he reached his 80’s and had a heart attack, dying in their bed. Sapphire saw him pass right in front of her- she thought he was asleep and no matter how much she shook him he never woke up. Only after they were burying him in a coffin, she knew that she would never see him again. She cried for the first time, remembering all the amazing years they spent together. She cried and cried, for years- her hair soaked with tears. She felt like she would never be happy again, it took her so long to get over the boy’s death... now she can smile. She smiles because she remembers how happy she was. She was beautiful thanks to him and she was forever thankful...
Her partner Sapphire-
Sapphire’s partner was quite beautiful, while they had the same built as every other gem, they were seemed shinier and prettier- much more desired and preferred by their creators, and of course, their eye was in the right place. Our Sapphire was quite jealous- all she had to show was her long hair, a rarity for gems. Her partner seemed to have a serious superiority complex. They wanted to be better than every other gem and could always get every single thing she wanted. They were absolutely better than Sapphire at everything- it made her feel worthless, useless, sad. When she told her partner than she was dismissing her mission over her preference for humans they acted aggressive, even breaking one of her limbs in the process. Sapphire ran away- from them, from their troubles, from everything. She never saw her partner again.
Her group of friends-
She absolutely cares for every friend she made. Her group of friends was large- so large she often forgets some of their names. They were drawn to her strange form and bubbly outgoing personality. They were mostly made up of males who admired her- she loved being spoiled and being covered in men. For outsiders it may seem like she’s beam using them- but Sapphire knew that she loved and cared for them. They usually watch TV and play video games together- even if Sapphire’s terrible at it. One of their favourite pass times is play truth of dare- God knows how many boys she has kissed thanks to that game. She was even dared to run naked on the street one time. She loves spending her days with them- however she tries not to get too attached- it saddens her but she knows that one day they’ll die and she does not want to suffer again.
appearance
Sapphire seems to be a young girl with dark blue skin sprinkled with even darker freckles. She has no nose or ears and her “eyes” are covered by her long blue bangs. Her face is round and her cheeks seems to be purple in tint- they’re somehow chubby and incredibly squeezable- a treat saved for the ones she loves.
No one knows what’s under her bangs as they seem to be stuck in place during all times, even when there’s strong wind. Some say there’s nothing underneath and some say that there’s another pair of eyes- however, Sapphire maintains it a mystery.
Her most prominent trait is her eye- she has one eye that seems to be stuck in the large bun in her hair. No one knows how it works or how it got there but Sapphire seems to have great vision, even better than the average person.
Hair:
Sapphire has long hair in a dark shade of blue- it’s tied into a large bun, one that she never takes off due to her eye placement. No one exactly knows how she looks like with her hair down or if she even can do such a thing. Her bun seems to be a part of her physical self and one that she cannot live without. There’re wavy strands of hair that she lets down to frame her face.

he has one big eye on her hair bun- it’s blue in colour- however a bit of a lighter shade that her skin and hair.
Body type:
Sapphire’s body is on the thicker curvier side and a bit heavier for her small stature- she’s quite short, at least compared to other humans and Monsters- standing at almost 5’0 feet. Her breasts are just a small B cup but she usually uses a push bra to make them look bigger- it usually makes her more confident as she has some massive envy of females with a bigger bust. She often wishes for a perfect hourglass figure. She has big hips complementing her big thighs and chubby legs. Her stomach sticks out slightly, making her have a preference for high waisted pants and fluffy dresses- she often thinks about working out and have a healthier diet- however, her laziness and her love for chocolate goods and human foods leaves her preferring her slight tummy over getting out of bed early- a small price to pay for happiness, she says.
Her body shape is considered a “pear”- meaning that her lower body is thicker than her shoulders and head.
Sapphire rarely obsesses over her body- in fact, she loves herself. She just wishes she could fix some things. She loves being alive and her physical body is a part of what makes life so beautiful to her. Despite wanting a thinner figure, she embraces her curves. Though there are some times where she finds herself to be self-conscious and wishing she could have the body of a super model. At the end of the day though, she knows she’s beautiful.
Clothing:
Despite coming from a planet where everyone is naked, Sapphire fell in love with human clothing, especially the colourful kind- she’s not too eccentric, just the perfect combination of colour and style. She loves standing out and her clothes prove that- she often says that clothing can be a big part of someone’s personality and she likes to present herself as someone different and unique. She loves long sleeves, even long enough to cover her hands. She loves skirts, shorts and everything that shows her thick thigs, as she’s convinced people love it. Her feet are usually bare- despite adoring shoes, especially high heels, she finds herself unable of being comfortable in human shoes.
Voice:
Sapphire’s voice is high pitched and childlike, childish enough to even be mistaken for a 13-year-old kid. Though you can sense some strain as she always forces it to get higher to sound cuter, even though she will never admit it. She wasn’t able to to speak before coming to Earth- only some shrieks and high pitched screams so she now seems to be compensating for lost time- as she does not seem to shut up.
