Fernstar

Left her cozy home as a kittypet after they and their littermate got into a fight. They wandered for quite awhile until they found an old cat with a pelt the color of a dark night sky (they could almost see the stars in his pelt). The tom would tell their of a group from the past— a clan that lived on their own and prayed to the stars above. The idea amazed them and they begged to know more. This tom would come with her everywhere, like a shadow that walked beneath their paws.

Once he ran off and she couldn’t find him— only to see him with a familiar face; her littermate from her past life. They reconnect and Eddy (now named Petal) comes shows her to more of their neighborhood cats and that’s where Fern introduces the idea of a can. They are about to credit the tom from before, but before she can she realizes he was gone. Like he was never there to begin with. Despite this, she leads the cats back to where now they live in Sandclan, with Fernstar as their leader, with her lives given by Starclan.
