Stone was a stoic and determined tom cat. He never really let his emotions show. He fell in love with Grasspaw as an apprentice, when she had a crush and doted on him, and he eventually reciprocated.

He grew to be more rude and unempathetic.

Stoneclaw always wanted a son to train into a formidable warrior, and when he was first given a small daughter he was disappointed, even more so when she didn't even go the route of being a warrior. When his wife fell ill while pregnant, he doted on her and cared for her, hoping for a healthy son. However, when Calenduladirt was born, it was clear something was wrong. And as Calendula grew, so did Stoneclaw's resentment towards his children and his wife. He ended up leaving her for another She-cat in hopes of the family he wanted.

However, before he could see his successful children born, he was picked up by an eagle and never seen again.
