Hey, wait! Wait! What are you, crazy? That demon woman could have seen you!
The woman who tends the light tower is quiet, reclusive and rarely seen by day. Once a month she journeys into town for supplies, but she always leaves before the sun has reached its peak. Attempts at conversation are politely rebuffed, taunts ignored.
At night she lights the beacon, then stands out on the stone balcony until dawn.
She boils the bones of wanderers in a stew, that's why she's lived so long. You're lucky I found you first!
