► History

Logan was born in Bath, UK, to Sarah and Richie Sutton. Up until the age of seven, things were relatively average. Logan was as adventurous as any child of his age and took a shine specifically to the fast-rising standards of technology. When he was seven, things took a bit of a tumble in his world. Sarah and Richie's marriage began to break down and Logan didn't get much attention with the fights and problems between his parents. He tried to run away from home a couple of times, but it always resulted in him being returned home the same day. The divorce proceeded and Sarah maintained custody of Logan, moving to a downsized home for both of them. Tensions were still quite high between Richie and Sarah as Logan was permitted to visit his father every week. This arrangement ran until Logan was twelve, where negotiations seemingly broke down. Logan, now starting secondary school and developing a mind of his own, decided that he still wanted to at least see his dad every now and then on his terms. His mother reluctantly accepted, if not out of fear that he might reject her.

Logan grew to be relatively headstrong, even in his primary years he had been quite forward-thinking. Despite this, he was clever. Logan was good at what he was interested in, whether it was serious work or pulling jokes, he seemed competent. He took well to mathematics and physics, using P.E as an outlet to pretty much bully other children through sports, and letting his standards drop through the floor in subjects like modern languages, art and history. Logan was often bullied for being a 'nerd' or a 'geek' - he enjoyed playing games (be it borrowing tech from somebody else or playing cards), powering through sci-fi books and movies and trying to create his own content. People didn't like that he was smart, even he didn't like that he was smart.

In his third year at secondary school the two different groups of students were merged, and this is where he met his best friend, Mari. Mari was a rather reclusive girl with a tendency to spread rumours that she was a vampire and would curse anybody who bullied her. Logan, seeing this as some sort of opportunity, thought that making friends with Mari might keep some people off his own back. Mari didn't particularly like Logan, he could be a bit of a dick and didn't seem like the best person in the world, but he wanted to stick up for Mari even if she didn't need it. He more or less forced his way into her life, and they discovered that they shared some interests to make their time together more bearable, at least more bearable for Mari. She warmed to him in time, but it was clear she was the leader of the pack. Mari was interested in occult items and the supernatural, often taking Logan with her to play along with Ouija boards or 'ghost hunts' - Logan, who stubbornly did not believe in any of those things, was more than happy to join in for the thrill. Scaring others, together, became a group pass time. They were a duo not to be messed with.

Mari's friendship was good enough to satisfy Logan's wants to fit in and feel like he was necessary and it helped his school studies, or at least the studies he was interested in. Logan stayed on to finish school and took a break from studies for a year to decide what he wanted to do, convincing Mari to do the same. Logan managed to bank himself a part-time assistant job in a bowling alley, at least occupying his now free time. Mari took the opportunity to develop her 'witch' skills. The two of them decided to apply to university in hopes they would both get into the same university at the same time. By this time, Logan was creating free coding sources online and making small digital projects for his portfolio, consolidating his entry into university and bagging a 5-year computer science and mathematics course. Mari successfully passed into a digital media and production course that started simultaneously. The two started University together, trying to synchronise their breaks and days to still spend time together. As Logan turned 21, he began to stray though. He met other friends who weren't exactly the best kind. A group of rowdy individuals that liked little more than to stir up trouble and cause misery. Logan began to spend time with them, even after being advised not to. He got into trouble with the police for vandalism, being blackmailed into taking the blame solo and peer pressured into thinking it was the best thing to do. He began to go out late with his group, often leaving Mari in the dust, coming home late, and drunk, and causing nothing but trouble for Sarah. When Mari confronted Logan with his problems, he actively denied them, acting as though it was all fully intentional and that he did not need Mari or her help. For now, Mari backed down, remaining on the sidelines. Logan's behaviour did not improve, and he continued to cause trouble which began to affect his studies and ability to turn up for work. Mari stepped in again, only for Logan to actively break her down like she meant nothing to him in front of his new friends. They then pressured Logan into humiliating Mari in public, which was the last straw for Mari, who decided it was best to leave Logan behind.

When Logan continued to go out late with his new 'friends', he was told to humiliate a woman who had a late-night stall open on the high street, demonstrating tarot-readings and fortunes. He obliged, as expected, and threw shaving-cream filled water balloons all over the woman and her belongings. The rest of the group ditched him, and the woman took Logan inside to try and speak with him about his troubles. As usual, Logan denied he had any, bad-mouthing and laughing at the mystic just as he had Mari. Instead of helping Logan with his issues, she drugged him and laid a curse on him so that he would learn a lesson. He woke up in his own room, convinced that it had just been a night where he had been too drunk to comprehend what had happened. Despite brimming with confidence in front of his new friends, Logan couldn't help feeling a real sense of guilt and wrongness in what he had done. This feeling worsened over the course of the day, making him physically nauseous and ill to the point where he was sent home from his lectures. He suffered severe migraines and dissociation after returning home but it faded into the evening. Despite feeling better physically as the sun went down, he was confronted with a new problem - he began to change physically, becoming a "half-wolf" in appearance. This naturally incurred a panic. Logan's curse deemed that from sunset to sunrise he would be forced to change, and under a full moon he would completely transform out of his control. He needed to clean up his act before the full moon in order for the curse to be removed or he would be stuck with it forever.

► Personality

Logan is a headstrong, self-obsessed guy who can have his moments where he does or does not care. When with friends and family he can be considered respectable - he cares deeply for the important people in his life and likes to show them his achievements. This is in direct conflict with his need to fit in desperately, where he will commit ridiculous acts, do stupid things and almost become self-destructive to reach this end. Logan is always at odds with himself, struggling to be two different people at once and causing himself several internal emotional issues. This often causes him to harm and upset those around him which he will try to amend. Logan is constantly in denial that these issues are harmful to him and tries to take it all in stride in front of people. Generally, he's a joker and a fool who likes to make people smile, taking on the role of the group clown. He likes to share what he knows, but can also be incredibly competitive despite this, wanting to be impressive at all times. Logan tries to adjust his personality and habits to suit those around him but it causes him stress and anxiety which he entirely internalises and ignores. He will make jokes about his problems openly, making his humour dark and unsuitable for some. Sometimes he thinks a bit too much with his dick and can get carried away, definitely having a preference for feminine people over masculine.

► Logan's Curse

Logan's curse was cast by a travelling witch, Morgan, who had been tracking him through Mari. She gave him the opportunity to turn a new leaf after he spent time humiliating Morgan in front of his rather delinquent friends, showing him the path he was set on as things were. Logan rejected her advice, openly turning on her in a plain despicable manner. Due to the nature of Logan's attitude and his wrongs to others, Morgan cursed him in a way that would not only affect Logan, but it would create collateral, impacting everything else in his world to shake him up. Whenever the sun went down, Logan would half-transform into a wolf. This near completely changes his appearance but also his mannerisms - Logan would become more erratic and forward out of his control, a personality trait he usually imposes on others unnecessarily when becoming cocky. His sex drive becomes harder to cover up and his eagerness shines through in rather dog-like ways. He pants and whimpers involuntarily, on top of the general inconvenience of being covered in fur. His senses are also heightened, causing him excess anxiety. This lasts all the way until the sun rises again, where he returns to his usual human self. In a human form, his senses are still heightened but not to the same degree.

Under new and full moons Logan will complete a 'full' transformation, mimicking the appearance of werewolves. The transformation into a full wolf is incredibly painful and slow, deliberately causing distress and tearing his form apart to rebuild it. Under a new moon, Logan's mental state will remain near the same as the half-wolf form-- he will retain his own mind and his own thoughts throughout the night, along with the inconveniences and additions of the curse, the same as his usual nights. He loses the ability to communicate with people beyond basic canine noises.

Under a full moon, Logan can struggle to keep a hold of his humanity. He needs to be kept out of the moonlight for the night to run smoothly. He fights with himself internally to maintain control of his fully transformed self and will generally become half-mindless, no longer able to recognise those around him. This can be relatively easy to control by other people so long as he is supervised or locked away. If Logan is exposed to moonlight his own mind is churned against him, he builds a fast desire to hunt and destroy and will specifically target those he considers close. He becomes a clear danger to everything in his path.

The curse was not permanent when it was placed, Morgan gave Logan the opportunity to cleanse himself of his wrongdoings, and in turn the curse. Despite this, the curse only spiralled Logan into circles of fear and anxiety over the state of his life, making it hard for him to take any positive steps towards change. Logan had to have changed his ways before the full moon transformation in order to cleanse the curse.
