Wing Weaver

Born a normal Aquine, Wing Weaver discovered at a young age that he liked high places, despite being a glass pony filled with water. He is facinated by the idea of an Aquine being able to have wings and fly, so he wound up building himself a set of wings that strapped on to his back. The wings are able to move just like a normal Pegasus' wings, but do not give him the ability of flight. This doesn't bother him, though, since he likes how they emphasize his words and actions, just like with a normal Pegasus.

The wings are mechanical and powered by batteries inside the base. They function like a prosthetic limb as well as the Nekomimi ears. (It picks up what he wants them to do based on subtle changes in his movements, temperature, and the energy of his thoughts. It's more advanced than what we currently have available, but it's not a design that is so out there to not be reasonable)

Wing Weaver has a child with Heron Ponds from the 2016 Hearts and Hooves week Aquine Newbirth Ritual.

Unlike most species, having a child with another Aquine isn't as intimate, and there isn't a lot of pressure to be with only one somepony special during your life. The two "parents" just have to have some sort of bond (in this case a friendship between two strange Aquine) and they go into the water together. The influx of additional magic in the air winds up surrounding the two Aquines and from this magic a new Aquine is formed from the water, taking on traits from both parents.

This only happens around Hearts and Hooves day, when the power of love is strongest around Equestria, which is what leaves so much extra magic around to make this possible.
