Yelis is a high-strung bundle of nervous energy. First to jump at a slight, last to join a fair fight, first to get fed, and last out of bed. He's a shapeshifter who can take various human forms- something he uses to carry out "amateur vigilante matchmaking" which he then sits back and watches unfold like some sort of soap opera. Sometimes it comes back to bite him, but Waya generally helps keep him out of too much trouble.
He's extremely undiscriminating when it comes to food. A lot of the time, he's just living off of what Waya hunts, stealing more for the fun of it. When he's the one providing food, Waya usually gets the nicer stuff. (Any modern setting: Waya has separate, higher quality dog food.)
While he's very charming and outgoing, it's covering up for his fears. He had a very unpleasant run-in with a very nasty fey, an actual bogeyman, at a young age, that's left him afraid of a lot of stuff. He keeps to cities and civilization as much as possible.
Long term, he plans on tricking a rich/powerful woman into marrying him and settling down as a significantly less scoundrely father.
