Harle is an extremely confident pegasus. They were born across the ocean from Equestria, in Hayris, Prance. For some reason, the doctors couldn't find any identifying traits to determine the foal's sex, and they told the parents Harle could be anything.

Harle's parents let the foal decide, and what the foal decided was...nothing. Harle kept to genderless pronouns, allowing nicknames to come and go, purposefully making other ponies feel uncomfortable.

When Harle came to Equestria, they kept their accent, speaking English with mixed in French.

Harle enjoys messing with other ponies, playing tricks on them and suchlike. Sometimes they take it too far, but they always apologize and help if something goes wrong, or if somepony is hurt. Harle especially loves playing mean tricks on bullies, quietly sticking up for the shy ponies who get bullied.

As a pegasus, they often find themself adrift in the sky, though they use this to their advantage by always looking out for ponies to prank, trick, or fool. Harle does occasionally preform, but only rarely, and only when the audience includes young foals.
