Faith

Faith is a ghost, who saw her chance to beat death. Having bound her soul to another object, upon her life ending, she was able to resurrect in this new form of hers. A very powerful, forbidden section of Shadow and Soul magic. She's perhaps the only one left who has this much knowledge of such magics, and she doesn't really care to have them spread. She has what appears to be three eyes, but the third one is a stone her soul resides in. She feels there's nowhere safer for such an important artifact than with her at all times. While she could simply hide it inside herself, she feels she'd be fine with it in her forehead, a sort of gem of her accomplishments. As she died around 300 years ago, she was one of the firsts in bringing a spirit back into a form that is capable of being part of the world, magic which while still very rare, has been used plenty in the last 20 or so years especially.

In her life, she was secluded, but after dying, she's grown less weary of people, and likes to visit with people. Her castle has fallen into a state of disrepair, which she doesn't mind and will often visit the ruins, which have since been preserved as a historical sight. She does not have much of an official home, but in her state, that is not much an issue. In her travels, she only ever taught one person anything she knew, that was a then young Valeria. Faith knew she could be trusted. Little did she know, a few of the ghosts among society owe it to Faith for their post death existence, though not all of them.

Faith has also offered to tell the futures of those who seek such knowledge. She feels that she can get a good feel on one's future by the energy they give off. Most do give off this energy, but it's never been something she's followed up to see how accurate she is, or if she's simply guessing wildly. But, it brings her people occasionally, and she likes having people to talk to. She's also got heightened senses and can sense out a ghost from quite a distance, as well as powerful fighters. While she doesn't wish to challenge them or anything, she just likes knowing such people still exist. The world may have changed a lot, but it has also stayed the same in many respects.
