Cosette was the first approved scan after a long investigation of the causes of Subject 4's - as well as trying to stabilize the Short Jump Drive.
As part of new procedures, very little was implied to be volunteered. This included clothes. As a result of this Cosette, who grew up isolated form people and social norms in her home never actually asked for any. It seemed to be an extension to the claustrophobia noted in her human original.
While this was concerning - it was still a valid point of study. Some proposals included it as being a intentional attempt not to form a self-image, siting her lack of desire to refine her form past waking up.
