Tiangou 天狗: the good spirit, the bad spirit
Have you ever heard the tragedy of the lovers?
Let me tell you a tale of a being so strong and dignified that the gods were unable to ignore her existence.
They saw her power, then her love. They decided she could not have both.
On the last night that the pair was still unseparated, she said "I'd have promised you the sun and the moon if only you'd desired them."
Then death.
In vengeance, in wraith, in love Tiangou laid down a gift not given to her one and only.
The sun vanished, then the moon.
They were pleasured. Finally, there was a cause for her riddance.
After the incident, most of her magic has been sealed off. She herself banished from the upper realms to serve the gods of the undeworld in atonment for her transgression. Marked and confined, her seal materialises as chains around her ankles in her human form causing her to rarely take it. Tian gou, now colder and more reserved, is still the majestic creature she always was, but her lover's death formed a duality within her that clings deeper than her seal. Her pure white coat never returned to its original shade from that day onwards and upon anger- she will take the form of the beast that swallowed the sun and the moon. The gods proclaimed her as dangerous and only allowed her to wander the surface realm at nights of New Moon where nothing ever shines.
Potential Relationships: To be fair, anyone who knows her story would think she had closed off her heart, but she is trying her best at healing herself. More than anything she needs companions to help her get through with potential to develop into deeper, rich connections.
