Haddock was born into a small family, growing up with his father (Oren), mother (Willow), and sister (Juniper). His family ran the Stonehorn Forge & Inn, a large keep that housed the adventurers and soldiers who passed through their small mountain town. Haddock was raised to take over the establishment, specifically the forge. In his early teens he was pulled out of school and made to take up blacksmithing under the keen eye of his father. Years passed and his home life crumbled. Juniper had shown promise in her own studies and left to become a royal knight. Oren passed not long after, collapsing suddenly in the forge. Willow, now newly widowed, took to the road- wanting to adventure again after decades of living at home and caring for her family.

Suddenly alone, Haddock drowned under the pressure of keeping the family business afloat. The Stonehorn Forge & Inn closed and the minotaur was left destitute. Now he travels, picking up odd jobs for money and trying to teach himself magic. Being as big and intimidating as he is, Haddock mostly works as a bodyguard. Though he's not picky about what kind of job he does as long as he doesn't have to speak much.
