Although being the youngest to achieve the politician in his town Tobias is being secretly looked down by the people in his workfield because of his age and family background, being the guy that apparently got the job because of his father's position. He is aware of this, and he has made the last laugh. He may seem naive and spoiled, but he's pretty cunning when it comes to negotiation.
Even though everyone else has seen accidents happening around him everytime he conducts an experiment, he seems to have extreme luck, as he is almost never affected by them. He is also often unaware of these accidents, and witnesses the least damaging parts of his experiments.
