History: Hafsa was born in Mumbai, the youngest of two children. She has one older brother, Hamza. She moved from Mumbai to Los Angeles, California when she was only five. She did very well in school, she was well adjusted and intelligent with an innate curiosity. Her mother is an engineer and her father is a surgeon. Her older sibling went to school to be a doctor. She was raised in a family of over achievers, but as the youngest was allowed more freedoms than her brother. Her father was raised Sunni Muslim and her mother was raised Hindu, there is a combination of traditions from each in their home but they are not strictly religious people.
After graduation she moved from Los Angeles to Stanford to study International Law. She spent her first year in residence but wanted to move off campus for her second year. She had met Sade, Jyinxe’s Senshi, in her first year and the two had become good friends. She moved in with Sade for her second year of school.
Personality: Hafsa is bubbly and outgoing and is an extremely hard worker. She volunteers regularly and works part time at a clothing store. She wants to work in human rights law, thus her focus on international law. She likes to go out and do things and often drags her bestie Sade with her. She loves both of Sade’s cats and would like to get her own one day, but her parents have asked her to wait. She loves scary movies, hiking, ice cream and binge-watching television.
For getting placed on the Dean's list, her parents (after ensuring it was okay with Sade) bought her a little black and white rescue kitten that Hafsa has named Puffin. Puffin is Hafsa's whole world and she loves seeing the mischief he gets into.
