Mongwau ⭐

Mongwau, meaning 'owl', belongs to an Elvian named Fleur. He was given as a gift from the locals for her wonderful Elvian baked goods and sweet and gentle nature. He is strong and kind, yet threatening due to his eerie and constant state of silence. He guards their home.

Mongwau is often complimented for being so calm, particularly around the rowdy children in Alabaster, who love to pull on his tail and ears. He's a stoic symbol to the locals who know him, and he's also quite fun when there's a stick to be found...
He grew up in close contact with a person who is shy, and while he inherited some of those traits, he's usually very outgoing and curious, and finds a lot of joy in collecting toys from the people he interacts with, when he's not guarding Fleur from theft.

Mongwau sniffed at the ground beside the bakery window, licking up a few crumbs that had fallen when Fleur put out her bakes. He put his paws on the counter and surveyed the options: two centerpiece breads, one looked to be savory, made with venison and herbs, the other sweet, made with strawberries and had a lemon drizzle. He saw a dozen of two different kinds of petit fours, both smelled strongly of tea flavors. There was a variety more, but his attention was drawn away by a shuffling behind him. He received a pat on the head from Fleur as she walked by with her large chalk "OPEN" sign, which she set delicately by the petit fours. 

Mongwau knew she would be fine for the day, so he padded to the backdoor of the bakery and ducked into the almost-too-small doggy door Fleur had installed.
