Appearance

Old Man Oakley, also known as Mr. Oakley, is an eccentric old man with a large, round belly. He has short, white hair and round-rimmed glasses. Even with glasses, however, he does not have the best vision. He is known to wear plaid shirts with black pants that are held up with a belt. His attitude seems to be unnaturally joyous, to the point where he can make people feel uncomfortable.

My Experiences with this Character

While exploring Oak Manor, I hid in a room full of strange platforms and pianos. Mr. Oakley entered the room. At first, I was worried, but it soon became clear that he didn’t seem to notice me. Instead, he was talking, in a strange tone, to a dog that had appeared in the room. I then snuck out from the room without being noticed.

Personality

Mr. Oakley is an overly joyous man who can find the positives in anything. Something about his joy seems off however. His overly-joyful attitude is known to make people feel uncomfortable, for some unknown reason. He is also quite eccentric and he is obsessed with dogs. He owns dozens of dogs which he lets roam throughout his mansion and his neighborhood. Despite the plentitude of dogs, he is somehow able to effectively care for all of them.

Scale of Evil

Note: A lower percentage is more good; a higher percentage is more evil.

Mr. Oakley definitely isn’t evil, but he is known to make people feel uncomfortable, though the reason behind this is unknown. There’s just something a bit off about him, but I can’t seem to pinpoint what it is. He is a bit eccentric, considering that he owns dozens of dogs which he lets run free throuhgout his neighorhood, but he truly does seem to do his best to care for all of them.

Quote 1

“Soon, an elderly man entered the room. He had short, white hair, rounded glasses, and a somewhat large belly. I think that he may have been wearing plaid and black pants with a belt. He seemed joyous as he entered the room. He started talking in a strange tone that made me uncomfortable for some reason. He wasn’t being threatening or anything; in fact, he seemed unnaturally ecstatic about something, but something about his tone seemed to spark emotions of discomfort from me. That was when I saw something out of the corner of my vision. I turned my head and saw there another platform had arose from the ground and there was a dog, which was either a border collie or an Australian shepard, on it. It was not CH3ESE, though; it was a different dog. He was talking to the dog, not to me. In fact, he didn’t seem to notice that I was there. The tone that he talked to the dog in, though, still seemed weird. It wasn’t the way that people normally talked to dogs. There was something that seemed off and unnatural about it, like you shouldn’t talk to a dog, or anyone else, in that kind of tone. I’m not exactly sure what about it bothered me, but something just felt off about him. Something made me feel like I was unsafe being within the same room as him. Without him even really noticing me, I swiftly and silently left the room.”

Oak Manor

[ Location ]

This is the building that he resides in. It is a large mansion primarily built out of oak wood. Many of the rooms within this mansion have red carpet. Mr. Oakley seems to have an obsession with dogs, so he owns several of them that he lets roam around his mansion and his neighborhood. Despite that, his mansion is surprisingly clean and his dogs are well cared for. It is thought that Mr. Oakley may have maids and/or butlers, as well, but they are hardly ever seen, almost as if the mansion just cleans itself.
