An exquisite and rare chao, capable of breathing fire, and an excellent competitor, but A chao that often feels like they are only loved because of their ability, and not for who they are. They're a melancholic little thing, and can often be seen moping around or acting shy.

Ember found Heartburn after they had escaped from an underground chao racing operation. Heartburn was lost, separated from their friends - when Ember stumbled upon them. Ember adopted the Chao, took them in and gave them a place to stay. While Ember tends to be a more serious person, he cracks his shell when around Heartburn. The two are incredibly close. Heartburn loves Ember, and is glad that Ember sees them for more than their skills and abilities.
One of the Chao Heartburn escaped from the races with. Rascal and Heartburn are good friends and often found comfort in eachother during the races. The two escaped along with Rascals brother Razzberry but was separated from the two in their panic.
Both Chao are quite shy and soft spoken - and relate a lot to eachother. Heartburn misses their friend dearly and hopes it's alright
Rascals older brother, Razzbery used to stand up for Heartburn and Rascal during the races, putting himself in harms way to keep them safe. While he is a troublemaker, Heartburn looks up to him and respects him greatly. Not only for keeping them safe, but for making them smile during it all. Heartburn was separated from the Siblings during their escape. They hope Razz is okay
