Foxtail

One of the main characters of Charmwork

Foxtail is a short, muscular bright ginger tom splashed with darker patches and has a speck of white by the muzzle and on the tail, along with a saturated pink nose and hazel eyes.

Foxtail has known for a long, long time that he is worth less to the world than others around him, his sister (Privet) especially. His childhood was stuffed to the brim with reminders of how he was only useful as her lackey, or her protector. But he has left that life behind, and now he will be the one to surpass her while she is still reeling from the reality they came from. He will prove he can fend for both of them on his own. It's not like there's anyone else he could trust, anyway.

Foxtail goes through a fair bit of change over the course of the story so these traits may not all fit all the time, but in general he is protective, strong-willed, clever, decisive, and brave. That said, he is also reckless, vengeful, intolerant, and has a volatile temper.
